AK agar: is used for production of Bacillus subtilis spores which serve as an inoculum in methods for detection of residues of penicillin and other antibiotics in milk and milk products.

TPV: Buffered peptone water is used as a non-selective enrichment medium in which e. g. Salmonella injured during conservation of food can recover prior to multiplication in selective media.

VRBG agar: is used for selective isolation, detection and enumeration of Enterobacteriaceae in a sample.

VRBL agar: is used for selective isolation, detection and enumeration of coliform bacteria in a sample.

YGC agar: (GKCH) is used for selective isolation and enumeration of yeasts and fungi in food and milk samples.
